October mid-semester break is an opportunity for children to step outside the classroom, build confidence, and discover their potential as young leaders.
This October, London Future Leaders Academy is bringing its Young Ambassador Programme to Dubai, giving children the chance to develop communication, leadership, etiquette, cultural awareness, and confidence through a hands-on learning experience.
Taking place from 12–15 October 2026 at SEE Institute, The Sustainable City, Dubai, the programme is designed for children aged 5–7 and 8–12, with five hours of activities each day led by leadership mentors.
Building Confidence Through Communication
One of the key focuses of the Young Ambassador Programme is helping children find their voice.
Through public-speaking activities, participants will learn how to communicate with kindness, clarity, and respect. They will also have the opportunity to take to the stage and deliver a short speech in front of an audience.
For many children, speaking in front of others can feel challenging. The programme aims to turn that challenge into an opportunity to build confidence and experience the pride that comes with stepping forward and being heard.
More Than Just Public Speaking
The programme goes beyond communication skills. Children will also explore etiquette, cultural awareness, leadership, and talent discovery.
Participants will learn how to lead while supporting others, develop polished manners for real-life situations, understand and respect cultural differences, and discover their individual strengths.
These experiences are designed to help children become more confident in different social and learning environments.
What Will Children Learn?
The Young Ambassador Programme focuses on five key areas:
Public Speaking
Children will practise speaking clearly and confidently.
Leadership
Participants will explore what it means to lead while also learning how to support others.
Etiquette
The programme introduces polished manners and social skills that children can use in everyday life.
Cultural Awareness
Children will learn to respect differences and communicate with care.
Talent Discovery
Participants will have opportunities to recognise their strengths and build confidence in what they can do.
A Mid-Semester Break With a Difference
The programme offers children an opportunity to spend part of their October break developing skills that extend beyond the traditional classroom.
With activities centred around communication, leadership and confidence-building, the experience is designed to encourage children to become more comfortable expressing themselves and interacting with others.
As the programme puts it: “Watch your children stand taller this mid-semester break.”
